Delete your account

You can have your Rally account and everything in it deleted. This page, at https://rallyfit.co/delete-account/, is the route, and it works whether or not you still have the app installed.

1. How to ask

Write to privacy@rallyfit.co from the email address on your Rally account, with the subject line Delete my account.

If you signed in with Apple or Google, use the address that sign-in is attached to. If you used Rally without ever signing in, say so and give us whatever identifying detail you can — the date you first used it, roughly when you last did — and we will do our best to find the session. We may not be able to, because an account with no identifier attached to it may be impossible to match to a person.

You do not need to give a reason.

2. What happens next

We confirm the request within 2 business days and tell you what will and will not be deleted before anything is removed.

Deletion completes within 30 days of us verifying the request. Copies in routine backups are purged within a further 30 days.

3. What is deleted

Your profile, your account and sign-in records, every workout, exercise and set you logged, your bodyweight history, your records, your plans, and your membership of any rally.

4. What is not deleted, and why

A rally you were part of. A rally is a shared record of a training week belonging to everyone in it. It continues without you: your name and your participation are removed from it, and nothing you logged goes with it, because nothing you logged was ever visible to the other members.

A gym or a place you added. It stays on the map with your identifier removed, because other people rely on it.

Anything we are required to keep. Records the law requires us to hold, and records we need to prevent fraud or abuse, are kept for as long as that purpose lasts and no longer.

Whatever is on your phone. Deleting your account does not reach onto your device. Delete the app to remove what is stored there.

5. Your subscription is separate

Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription, and we cannot cancel it for you. Apple and Google run the billing, so cancel it in the App Store or Google Play account settings first. If you delete the account and leave the subscription running, you will keep being charged for it.

6. If you would rather not delete everything

Write to the same address. We can remove a single rally, clear your logged history and keep the account, or export what you have before you go.
